Twiggy is the name given by Foscarini to a collection of floor, table, ceiling and pendant lamps, characterised by direct emission of intense light downwards and soft light upwards.
The line of the Twiggy floor lamp by Foscarini is inspired by the curved shape of a fishing rod and has now become an icon of contemporary design. Twiggy by Foscarini is a floor lamp with light lines, ideal for both large and small spaces, which, thanks to its slender structure, can bring light to any point in the room where it is needed, above a table, a living room or a work surface and, why not, also to create a relaxing atmosphere. Despite its size, the painted fibreglass lampshade of Twiggy by Foscarini is well balanced by the large, appropriately sized base. Inside are two halogen lamps or two LED boards which have the dual effect of providing diffuse ceiling lighting and direct downward light. In both cases a dimmer will adjust the light intensity so that the light response always matches your needs. The long, slender, curved stem leading to the light source is the result of a true technical virtuosity: a steel cable hidden inside and a play of counterweights that will allow you to position the Twiggy lighting body always at the desired height and without effort.
