The shade is composed of hand-sewn bamboo slats, woven into a pleated mat and carefully secured to the wire frame, with a linen lining that softens the light. The light is directed downwards, creating a warm, intimate cone, but it also filters through the slats, generating a diffused glow upwards that envelops the space. The brass finishes, Tynell’s unmistakable signature, add a touch of timelessness and harmonise with the natural tones of the wood and light.
