The Skygarden 1 hanging lamp is designed by Dutch designer Marcel Wanders for the Italian company Flos. "In my previous house there was a fantastic old plastered ceiling. I call it my Rooftop Garden.... I liked it so much that when I moved, I couldn't part with it. I had to find a way to take him to the new house." The Skygaredn 1 pendant lamp is made of white painted plaster with relief decoration on the inside. The conical diffuser in the centre is made of white opaline glass and ends with a decorated disc made of photo-etched aisi steel and machined to obtain an arabesque decoration that gives interesting lighting effects.
