The Maxalto Pathos side tables are distinguished by their characteristic metal frame with X-shaped crossover, a distinctive element of the collection of the same name. Designed to flank the beds, they display a versatile character, also thanks to the different finishes.
The top is made of an MDF wood fibre panel finished in different finishes depending on the shape chosen: glossy lacquered oval top in various colours; while rectangular top, more like a tray, comes in three colours of lacquered gum lacquer. Supporting the top is the base structure, in polished chrome-plated or bronzed nickel-plated steel, composed of two X-shaped elements that give the design momentum and movement. Also elegant and functional is the small shelf underneath to optimise space.
The small size of the side table makes it easy to place in different areas of the home, from the living room to the bedroom. In the living room it flanks the sofas as a side table or placed in another corner it serves as decorative furniture; while in the bedroom area it can be used as a refined bedside table where the bedside lamp, books and other small personal items can be placed.
The Maxalto Pathos '13 side table, designed by Antonio Citterio, is the ideal solution for those who want a functional yet refined and light piece of furniture.
