The Mesa table is the result of the combination of two simple geometric shapes, a circle and a cone. The Mesa table by Poltrona Frau has a top in Ligurian slate which, thanks to the traditional splitting process, maintains natural wrinkles and veins on the surface. A burnished sheet steel sub-top provides additional stability and strength. The supporting column is made of grey-coloured sandstone, with a shaped black plastic ferrule inserted at the base. The connection point between the top and the column is a burnished steel tube on which rests a three-armed crossbar that allows the position of the top to be adjusted.
