Poltrona Frau has carried out an interesting philological work around the Mesa project: on the basis of some original drawings signed by the Italian designers Lella and Massimo Vignelli, two new versions of the original table have been created, called Mesa and Mesa Due. Two like the simple geometric shapes, a circle and a cone, juxtaposed to form a table with great personality and a strong graphic sign.
The top of the Mesa Due table by Poltrona Frau is made of medium-density wood fibre with wengé or moka-stained ash veneer, or covered in Pelle Frau leather. The base is available in grey sandstone, in steel with Cuoio Saddle Extra upholstery with contrasting stitching or in Color System leather with tone-on-tone stitching. The steel base maintains stability thanks to a special system of internal counterweights, and has a moulded plastic tip at the end to protect the floor. The connection between the top and the column is made of tubular steel painted black-brown, on which rests a three-arm spider with adjustable supports for levelling the top.
Geometrical shapes characterise the Mesa Due table by Poltrona Frau, which will become the true protagonist of your environment and give it personality and elegance.
