One of the most classic armchairs in the Poltrona Frau collection. Smooth shapes distinguished by a volumetrically turgid design characterise Poltrona Frau's New Deal armchair, the true workhorse of the 1930s Tolentino-based brand. A sort of reincarnation of the famous Vanity Fair, made smaller and with a circular backrest.
The supporting structure of the New Deal armchair by Poltrona Frau is made of seasoned beech wood, resistant and perfectly durable. Springing is achieved through the use of biconical steel springs attached to jute straps. The seat is upholstered in rubberised horsehair, the backrest and armrests in hand-moulded vegetable hair. The seat cushion is made of goose down, while the feet are made of dark walnut-stained beech. A row of hand-applied leather-covered tacks finishes the back and sides of the armchair. The upholstery is made of elegant, high-quality Pelle Frau leather.
The refined and precious finishes of the New Deal armchair by Poltrona Frau will allow you to decide whether to place it individually, alongside a magnificent sofa, or in pairs to transform your living room into a true work of art!
