The Tacchini Polar Perch bench, design by PearsonLlyod, is the result of a creative project with multiple visions, interpreting with intelligence and originality the needs of a more mobile and multiform contemporary living. Two elements with soft curved lines and different heights are composed in complementary pairs.
Polar Perch consists of two units of different sizes: the lower one, single and free-standing, has the function of a seat; while the taller one, in combination, can be used as its backrest, second high seat or tabletop. The forms are upholstered in cold-foam, with an internal structure in poplar plywood with elastic straps, with a side frame in faesite. The upholstered pieces are joined by a painted metal joint plate. The choice of upholstery in fabric or leather can be different for each shape, resulting in unique and eye-catching contrasting compositions.
Polar Perch derives from an innovative furnishing concept that allows endless solutions to be created in the most diverse collective spaces, such as waiting rooms, hotel lobbies and public places. The bench provides refined and comfortable seating, suitable for moments of relaxation, conviviality or waiting. Perfectly matched with the modular Polar sofa and the small tables of the Tacchini line, the elements furnish an evocative and welcoming environment.
