The living room is more of a multi-purpose space than just a room, which is why furnishing it means making an effort to combine empty and full spaces. In order to reconcile the different functions of a living room and thus obtain a more dynamic furnishing style, the Vanity Fair armchair by Poltrona Frau has been created, representing to all intents and purposes the emblem of the Tolentino brand. Its highly volumetric configuration has made it one of the universally recognised icons of Made in Italy design.
The Vanity Fair armchair by Poltrona Frau has a solid seasoned beech frame. The upholstery uses both hand-moulded vegetable horsehair and rubberised horsehair and the seat cushion is made of goose down. Seat, back and armrests have springing obtained through the use of biconic steel springs tied by hand and fixed on jute straps. A row of leather-covered tacks finishes the back and sides of the armchair. The upholstery is available in either Pelle Frau leather or fabric.
The Vanity Fair armchair by Poltrona Frau is a product with an unmistakable style, capable of crossing the years and fashions unscathed. A key element of the furniture, capable of becoming a faithful companion for a lifetime, a silent witness to the culture of living. Also available in 'baby' and 'limited editions'.
