The 1 Fauteuil Dossier Basculant – Villa Church armchair by Cassina perfectly embodies the design philosophy of Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand, according to which furniture is the result of continuous evolution, capable of adapting precisely and immediately to the needs of living spaces.
Originally designed in 1928 for Villa Church in Ville-d'Avray, this version retains the aesthetics of the iconic model, enriching it with details designed to offer superior comfort. The structure is made of trivalent chrome-plated steel, while the polyurethane seat and backrest are elegantly upholstered in blue satin or leather. On the back of the backrest, exposed springs contribute to ergonomic support, while the armrests – a single ribbon stretched between the legs – express a gesture of refined simplicity. They are available in blue satin with grey leather piping and front, or entirely in leather.
This edition of the 1 Fauteuil Dossier Basculant – Villa Church armchair fits naturally into residential and contract environments, lending spaces a touch of sophisticated elegance thanks to its iconic and timeless design.
