This historic model has been updated in 2020 in an eco-friendly version, respecting the original model and nature, which has always been a constant source of inspiration for the designers. Thanks to the constant research of Cassina LAB with the Politecnico di Milano, the Cassina 2 Ottomane, Durable pouf, features foam padding for the cushions and a tubular structure produced with circular processes and materials. The pouf retains the slender metal structure that embraces and supports the generous cushion, covered in leather or fabric.
The decision to embrace greener production choices and materials does not detract from the stylistic and minimalist beauty of the original design.
