Designed by Piero Lissoni, the Cassina Eve chair stands out for its minimalist, modern design, capable of expressing a dual personality through the choice of materials. While maintaining the same leather seat, Eve changes personality depending on the structure: warmer and more natural in the walnut or ash versions, ideal for domestic environments; more subtle and decisive in the cast aluminium version, designed for office and contract spaces.
The structure is defined by two lateral rectangles that serve as both legs and armrests. Thanks to hidden crossbars, these elements discreetly support the backrest and seat, creating an essential and sophisticated geometry. The leather upholstery, designed as a 'cover' with no visible seams, reveals a refined interplay of cuts and folds that highlights Cassina's craftsmanship.
The focus on comfort is reflected in the thermoformed plastic shell, coupled with a thin layer of polyurethane, and in the rounded lines of the seat, which amplify the feeling of cosiness. The result is an elegant, functional and surprisingly comfortable chair.
Minimalist and refined, the Cassina Eve chair stylishly completes the dining area, enhancing the environment and inviting conviviality. In contract and hospitality spaces—from hotel lobbies to restaurant dining rooms and lounge bars—Eve brings with it a discreet luxury, capable of elevating the atmosphere with extreme simplicity.
