The Gubi Seine ceiling lamp, designed by Space Copenhagen, stems from a poetic observation: the way light refracts, shimmers and dissolves in moving water. This iridescent effect is captured through mouth-blown glass embellished with decorative motifs that soften, layer and diffuse the light, creating an intimate, dreamlike, almost meditative atmosphere.
The lamp can be configured with a Smoke shade, a slightly tinted translucent glass that offers a glimpse of the internal structure, or a Coral shade, where the sandblasted interior creates a cloudy, velvety effect. Its distinctive feature lies in the inverted glass shade, with the opening facing upwards: an unusual design that houses the bulb and diffuses a cosy, delicate light that spreads naturally throughout the space.
The Gubi Seine ceiling lamp is at its best on its own or in arrangements that alternate colours, creating refined lighting schemes. In a hallway, beside the bed or even in the kitchen, its almost floral delicacy enhances the space with an enveloping, soft and deeply contemporary light.
