Designers Ludovica and Roberto Palomba have designed the Mr Moonlight bed for Poltrona Frau, characterised by a perfectly calibrated study of proportions that avoids any visual clutter and enhances the perception of its suspended volumes. A relaxed and informal style, a profound feeling of comfort and freedom and the same lightness design.
The headboard is like a large, soft pillow, embellished by the simple central horizontal stitching and a rich perimeter border. The resting surface rests on a metal frame finely upholstered in leather or hide. The Mr Moonlight bed by Poltrona Frau has a solid poplar and birch plywood headboard structure, padded with polyurethane foam, polyester wadding and cotton cloth. The base consists of an aluminium die-cast frame for the side rails with the addition of aluminium die-cast corners with a Ruthenium finish for the footboard. The resting surface consists of two birch plywood shelves.
