Part of the famous “En Forme Libre” series, designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1938 for her Montparnasse studio, the Cassina Table En Forme Libre was born from the desire to infuse the creative space with the warmth of wood and the spontaneity of organic shapes. Its fluid, sinuous lines, to be explored with the eyes and touch, give life to a piece of furniture that embodies the essence of intuitive design.
Redesigned by Cassina with its usual timeless elegance, this table stands out for its soft, welcoming shapes, free of sharp edges and rich in character. It is made of solid mahogany or in a fully lacquered version, glossy or matt, available in the colour palette of the Cassina Moodboard project. The structure is composed of slats with visible side joints, testimony to the company's refined craftsmanship. Any variations and irregularities in the wood are not defects but intrinsic qualities that enhance its natural beauty.
The asymmetrical, slightly curved top rests on three elliptical legs arranged in a triangle: two smaller cylindrical legs and one larger elliptical leg positioned perpendicular to the others. The discreet and sophisticated charm of the Cassina Table En Forme Libre table fits naturally even into the most compact dining spaces, offering up to eight seats thanks to the absence of corners. Its organic, soft and enveloping shape captivates every guest, inviting them to follow its sinuous profile with their hands and eyes.
